Assembly in Progress...

I like WordPress quite a bit. I wrote some reason for this here. In that post, I show some love for the fact that the WordPress team has done a good job of creating a solid structure and useful pre-made tools that work well, while keeping things free enough that I don't feel limited as a developer. One of the ways they make this possible also happens to be the way they revolutionized the CMS: Plugins. I do not recall the version plugins came out in, but I do not believe the concept existed in any similar tool at the time. With this, the web has never been the same.

The ability to add functionality with a few clicks, and then remove it just as easy, was pretty big. This plugin system gave the users a quick and easy path to expand WordPress in nearly any way desired, while empowering developers to think of new ways to grow and tailor the user experience. In addition, these third-party creations created a direct relationship between the global developer community and non-technical end-users.

I could say more, but, I think you get the idea. Plugins are pretty cool.

I have made a bunch of plugins for my personal use. In fact, when I am looking to add functionality, I usually lean towards creating a new plugin. This page is here to make a few of these available. Most are written for my specific use-cases, so making them public-friendly takes a little work that I do not have much time for now. I will only post here the plugins that are ready for anyone to drop them in and use. I will post more as I can.

Unfortunately, nothing has been posted here yet. Stay tuned becasue new content flows in contantly.
